Collection: Embedding Indigenous Perspectives

This collection of resources, has been carefully curated to support educators to embed Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Perspectives into their everyday curriculum.

Sourced from a range of Aboriginal Artists, makers and small businesses these resources celebrate the creativity and knowledge of their makers. Each item description lists the name of the maker/author and information about them and their business. We source these resources directly from the company that makes them, we do not own the artwork or set the RRP.

Some items are created through collaborations between the artist/author and a non-indigenous person, this is always explained in the descriptions.

This collection of open ended resources and conversation starters can be used in many aspects of early years settings, and will become core resources in your learning environment.

The collection includes self published books by Auntie April Clarke, along with You Me Us crayons developed in a collaboration between Aunty April and The Early Years Treasury, Ally Friendly items by Clothing the Gaps and recycled sand and mud tools made by Gardening on Country and artwork by N'Dene Riley.
