A combination of red, yellow and black crayons, made in Australia and carefully colour matched to the Aboriginal Flag.

Using the holder ensures the crayons have a safe place to return to after use, enabling educators to discuss caring for resources.

About the products and the makers

This holder is custom made for us from reclaimed Australian hardwood in The Hunter Valley and has been designed to hold 3 block crayons, please contact us if you require other sizes. Each is unique.

Perfect for introducing concepts to children (primary colours, colours of flags, shades of different colours, patterning and sorting) these beautiful crayon holders encourage children to care for resources by putting them away after use.

Please note these are  suitable for use by children over 3 years.

The Maker - Lindon Heirloom Toys are a small family business, based in the beautiful Hunter Valley, New South Wales Australia. At Lindon heirloom toys, the goal is to design and create beautiful high-quality objects that are natural, non-toxic, tactile and nourishing

We are delighted to be partnering with Tinta Crayons, another sustainable small business in Melbourne. These beautiful crayons have strong, blendable colours and are designed to support the development of children's pencil grips. They are non-toxic and almost unbreakable and when cared for, will last months or even years.

Tinta crayons are natural and sustainable – they do not use paraffin (as it’s a by-product of petroleum), soy or palm oil waxes to make their crayons.

The other organic waxes used are selected for the qualities they bring to our crayons, without compromising the safety of using natural products.

Tinta don’t put any fillers in their crayons – so there is no talc, asbestos or any other nasties lurking in the box! All ingredients are sustainably sourced, and they make every crayon by hand in Melbourne.
